There are plenty of topics that we could come up with and discuss after watching all these teams the last two weeks at our Phenom HS Team Camp. One topic that certainly should be sitting on top of your mind is the dynamic duo at Chambers with 2026 6’6 Markus Kerr and 2026 6’6 Tarris Bouie. With players on the move and teams looking a bit different, there could be a real discussion that this duo now sits on top. Both sitting at 6’6, these are two prospects that have a ton of talent with room for growth. But you can’t deny the sheer talent both possess, as they check off a lot of boxes.

Kerr is a smooth operator from all three levels and is one of the youngest players in his class. He can score inside and out, smoothly operates and picks his spots, and yet he could still see an uptick in his development which makes him even more intriguing. Bouie is a competitive, attacking prospect with length and bounce in his game, as you can see him flying through the air to finish at the rim but also picks his spots in pulling up or knocking down shots from deep, hurting you in a variety of ways.

These two have been having a strong summer and college coaches are taking notice, as they have been earning some strong D1 interest and that should only continue.  But it certainly be said that this is now the best duo in the state of North Carolina.

What Has Been Said:

2026 6’6 Markus Kerr

“Kerr is such a unique prospect because he offers so much on the court, yet he has so much potential left in the tank. Kerr, who is one of the youngest players in his class for North Carolina, shows a smooth overall feel in which he finds ways to produce from the perimeter at 6’6 but also creating off the dribble, getting to the rim, finishing strong, and just playing at a terrific pace. Again though, he is just scratching the surface of what he could which is why many schools were taking notice and reaching out here in June.”

2026 6’6 Tarris Bouie

“Similar to others listed, Bouie has been trending upward for quite a while. This event presented us with an updated viewing of the 6-foot-6 wing, and he did not disappoint. Bouie highlighted his usual array of shot-making from all levels while applying constant pressure on the rim. He displayed solid vision and useful creation skills—both for himself and others. However, Bouie’s ascension into a leadership role is arguably as notable as any statistical production from the weekend. He’s still adding strength and becoming more vocal, but it’s clear that he’s solidified himself as a focal point. Beyond his offensive presence, Bouie made a consistent impact on the glass. He forced multiple turnovers and led the break in transition. Folks should anticipate him having a highly productive summer and upcoming high school season as he continues to collect offers.”
