Each and every year, there is talent to be found down in South Carolina and the Class of 2026 is setting up nicely early on. There are players such as 2026 Tre Raymon, 2026 Elton Smith, and others all making a name for themselves, but could 2026 Korie Corbett be challenging for the top spot'
Corbett offers a lot on the court, and he showed that again at the Phenom Summer Finale. He is coming off a tremendous showing at the EYBL Peach Jam, and continued that into this past weekend’s event where he really shined again. Corbett is a strong, explosive prospect that has a tremendous blend of feel, toughness, and is able to be a playmaker on the court. He can be one that leads the charge for his team but also can be a guy that creates his opportunity scoring-wise. He does a great job in being an effective weapon on both ends, allowing his ability to create turnovers and turn it into offense, as well as getting others involved, and scoring effectively as well.
He really was able to showcase his ability to create off the bounce well and get to the rim when he wants, but he also is able to get to his spots to knock down shots as well. Corbett is an efficient player that can really mix it up well with his style of play, but also be a weapon on both sides of the court.
With what he has been showing and his continued development, Corbett should certainly be in the discussion as one of the top players in his class down in South Carolina. But there is a true chance that he comes out as the best player in his class… time will only tell.
