South Carolina is known for under the radar hoops, especially here recently. Late bloomers, or players late on the scene who show out. Well, Pinewood Prep sophomore Cohen Gaskins just exploded for 31 points on 5-7 from 3, to go with 7 boards and 6 assists last in last night’s semi-final play off game, and not many noticed.
Gaskins is a 6’4 guard who has ball skills and a high IQ. He fits the mold of a successful player. Here’s hoping this helps to bring some notoriety to his talents, as coaches need to be looking closely moving forward.
