Class: 2026
School: Skyline Prep

Phenom Hoops has been starting its high school viewing around the country, checking out talent of all levels and areas in the country.  We recently viewed a game between AZ Compass and Skyline Prep, a game that brought a lot of interesting prospects to the court. One player that we watched for Skyline Prep was 2026 6’8 Adam Tyson, a new name that should be garnering eyes his way from what we saw.

Tyson ultimately finished with 15 points to lead his team, and he quickly made his presence felt with an interesting blend of size, length, athleticism, and shot-making ability. At 6’8, Tyson shows tremendous confidence in his ability to rise up and knock down shots with range, showing confidence from three as well as making plays in attacking to finish at the rim. He excelled in catch-and-shoot situations, finding open spots and using his athleticism to knock down shots over defenders. And again, this is at 6’8 which makes him a tough matchup for opponents.

We spoke with him shortly about his game and recruitment, as it seems that several big programs are expressing interest his way.

Phenom: How would you best describe your game and how you like to operate?
Tyson: I feel like I am a high-energy player willing to do anything on the court and put the ball in the hoop. How I like to operate is that I’m a shooter/slasher type player and good at catch-and-shoot and off-the-dribble.

Phenom: Who has all offered and who else has been showing interest your way?
Tyson: My offers so far are Ole Miss, Kennesaw State, New Orleans, and Jackson State. My interest has been from Louisville, Alabama, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, Murray State, St. Louis, Colorado State, and New Mexico State.
