2025 Brycen Redmon – Moravian Prep Regional
We knew about Redmon coming into the event and what he could provide; we watched him go for 37 points earlier in the season on the Phenom Hoops platform. So, we were interested in seeing what he could show on the big stage again, and we weren’t disappointed. Redmon ended the event averaging 37.3 points per game and showing that he is a college-worthy prospect. As a guard, he does a great job in finding ways to create for himself, whether it is scoring in transition, creating paint touches and finishing, getting to the line consistently, or creating space as well as showing range in his shot. He makes it look easy with his ability to score, and he would be a great late snag for a program still looking.
2026 CJ Bostic – North Florida Prep
Bostic was a new name that we learned about, and he was quite assertive all throughout his time at Nationals. He had scores of 32 points, 33 points, and 31 points to lead his team in a variety of areas, being highly aggressive at times in attacking the defense, getting to the rim, and either finishing or getting to the free-throw line. But he also proved that he is a multi-level scorer, creating space for himself, knocking down shots off the bounce, displaying good range, and also being one that can make an impact in other areas as well. He certainly should be on more radars after what we saw at the event.
2025 Nick Oliver – Rocktop Academy
Oliver is one that I believe should be earning D1 looks; at 6’5 and his ability to knock down shots consistently, he was impressive with his performance down in Rock Hill. Overall though, Oliver is a multi-level scorer who does a great job in mixing it up. He showed that he can make plays for himself but also plays off the ball and be a big threat, showing deep range and shot-making ability in catch-and-shoot situations. He is a good offensive threat and has been showing that consistently this season. He had multiple 30-point games and could easily be a sneaky late grab.
2026 Jalyn Connor – Lab U Regional
We have been able to watch Connor over the years and we weren’t surprised to see him lighting it up for his team. As a smaller guard, Connor shows quickness, creativity, crafty handles, and change of speed, making it difficult for defenders to stay in front of him. And when you line that up with deep range and confidence from behind the arc, Connor can absolutely put on a show with his ability to score the basketball. He has a quick step with the ball in his hands but can also play off the ball and make opponents pay from the perimeter.
2026 Cedric Haynes – TD Prep
Haynes was a new name again for us at Phenom Hoops but when I watched him, this was a young man that I really liked especially with his blend of strength, his size at 6’5, and his comfort level in getting to his spots. A high IQ prospect who flourished with the ball in his hands, Haynes did a great job in picking his spots, showing his ability to hit mid-range jumpers, hurt opponents from deep, and use that strength to force the action and attack, embracing contact and finishing. He holds a few D1 offers already but he is one that should hold several others after what we saw from him at PG Nationals.
