He was most recently an assistant coach at 2016 NAIA National Runner-Up University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind., for a short stint this past spring and summer.

Isaac Loechle enters his first season as assistant coach with the men’s basketball program. He was most recently an assistant coach at 2016 NAIA National Runner-Up University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind., for a short stint this past spring and summer. His responsibilities included guard skill development, camp coordinator, and recruiting coordinator.

Prior to Saint Francis, he was the Varsity Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Ind. He was involved with all aspects of the program including guard skill development where he worked daily with several high level players. He also helped conduct all youth camps, was in charge of film breakdown and exchange, and prepared detailed scouting reports for upcoming opponents.

Loechle owns his own basketball training business, Train To Perform, which focuses on skill development. He trains players of all ages from youth to college to professional level players. He has also coached AAU basketball for 4 years. He founded the Indiana Legends AAU Program which has established itself as a top program in the state of Indiana. Players have gone on to play at every level through the Legends program. NCAA I, II, III, and NAIA.

He played collegiately at Trine University and Anderson University.
