5’10” Garrett Pollard of Wesfield HS (Westfield) – A high IQ point guard who did a good job getting into the paint. He distributed the ball well and created great angles, spacing off the bounce. D3s and NAIAs should be looking.
6’ Keith Rupert of Mt Vernon HS (Indianapolis) – Rupert is a throwback type point guard. He displayed a natural feel for the game to go with a great pace and handle. He showed good court vision and was a solid shooter. D3s and NAIAs should be looking.
6’1” Willanta Hankston of Emmerich Manuel (Indianapolis) – Hankston is a scorer. Played very confidently with the ball in his hands. He showed a jump shot with range to go with toughness on the boards and good defensive upside. He got into the paint and finished at 3 levels. Solid secondary handle. Scholarship type player.
6’3” Xavier Hines of Noblesville HS (Noblesville) – Makes winning plays. Always finds himself around the ball. Shot the cover off it, put on the floor, got to the rim. Good rebounder. Solid team defender. Good size for a guard. Scholarship guy.
6’5” Allen Plunkett of South Putnam HS (Greencastle) – Great activity on both ends. Shoots ball well. Solid handle from the wing. Got downhill off the bounce. Good rebounder. Good scorer. Solid athlete. One D1s should be looking at.
6’8” Ali Ali of East Noble HS (Kendallville) – Akron Commit – Fits the modern game. Great size, length and frame. Good handle, ability to bring it up and push the break. Excellent court vision. Solid shooter. Big time athlete. Surprised Mid to High majors were in deep here.
6’8” Jalen Johnson of Emmerich Manual (Indianapolis) – Big framed bully on the block. Great length with broad shoulders. Strong. Shoots the ball with range off the catch. Can create off the bounce from high post or wing. Finished well around the basket, good footwork and a go-to move. Southern Illinois and Illinois-Chicago offers should multiply over this high school season.
6’9” John Michael Mulloy of Carmel HS (Carmel) – Butler Commit – Lefty has great size and is a very fluid athlete. He shot the ball well off motion and was able to get downhill. Has some explosion to him with great length and wide shoulders (he should put on weight immediately). Very intriguing prospect.
6’6” Chase Frey of Rossville HS (Rossville) – Has good size and length. Ran the floor extremely well, routinely beating his man. Has good hands. Showed touch in pick and pop situations (especially in the mid range). Good activity, solid length. D3s and NAIAs should look closely.
