Many already know about Jeremy Fears and it has been watching this young man grow throughout the years.  From when we saw him in 2021 to recently watching him operate at Pangos All-American camp, Fears continues to show why he is one of the premier point guards in his class.

First, let us rewind to when we watched him almost a year and a half ago, where we had this to say about his game then:

'The young guard showed a tremendous ability to impact the floor in so many ways, whether it was scoring, showing off his speed, penetrating the lane, and scoring around the rim, but also doing a tremendous job in rebounding and making smart decisions in finding his teammates.'

'Really loved this young man's presence on the floor at the guard position. Just seemed to make an impact and plays for himself and for his team, scoring and getting downhill (also helping get to the line) but also helping out getting on the boards or playing unselfish basketball.'

Fast forward to today after his strong performance at Pangos, you continue to see much of the same in his game but also a more developed point guard that excels in controlling the game more.  Watching him on the court, you can't deny the impact that he brings to the table for his team.  Whether it is his ability to score, his decision-making, his energy' Fears continues to show how valuable he is on the floor.

At Pangos, Fears really showcased his ability to diversify his game.' He continues to show he can be an impact scorer, whether it is using his frame to finish strong, his three-point shot-making ability, or his one-dribble pull-up; he is confident in his shot and making plays.' But he really displays the team-first type mentality, finding and delivering on-point passes to his teammates for easy baskets.' Fears does a terrific job in reading the defense and taking what is given, filling up the stat sheet, helping on the boards as a 6'2 guard, and really helping control the game.

You can't deny that his energy can really impact the game; his toughness, his mentality, and his impact can be felt in so many ways.  Which is why he was such a highly regarded prospect in his class, that eventually committed to Michigan State.

It certainly looks like Coach Izzo and the Spartans have a bright future with Fears helping lead the charge, as he continues to play at a high level against some of the talent.
