The end was coming in the Hoop State League, as Word of God and Raleigh’s Finest wanted to end on a high note and secure the silver bracket championship. Word of God came out and made an early statement, creating an early lead and eventually putting Raleigh’s Finest in a big hole, down 41-14 at half. Raleigh’s Finest still competed and chipped away at the lead but it was just too much early on, as Word of God took home the 66-50 victory.
