The second game of our Hoopstate Championship bracket took place between Moravian Prep and Lake Norman Christian. The Storm came out of the gate and scored the first two buckets to start this contest. Immediately thereafter, Moravian Prep put together a 12-2 run, started controlling the action, and led 14-10 after the first quarter. The ensuing period was more of the same, as Moravian continued to extend their lead behind a balanced approach. They entered halftime leading 31-18 over Lake Norman Christian. Following the break, the Storm began to mount their comeback and actually won the third period—cutting the deficit to 45-37. Both teams struggled to score for the first few minutes in the final quarter, but Moravian Prep rediscovered their offensive success and held a double-digit lead until the ending buzzer—winning 63-48 over Lake Norman Christian.
