Cougars vs. G-Town

It was the final game of the Fall League, and both teams were looking to be crowned champion heading into the season. Two of the top teams were in action with Cougars vs. G-Town, and the intensity was there from the beginning. Cougars came out strong with an early lead led by their strong duo of Tarris Bouie and Markus Kerr, but it was G-Town that really ramped it up both offensively and defensively to take the halftime lead. The energy didn’t let up from G-Town, as they were making several hustle plays to increase to a double-digit lead in the second half. But the Cougars started to pick it up in the second half and eventually erased that lead, as we were in a battle. It was coming down to the wire with teams trading baskets, but in the end it was the Cougars of Chambers to earn the crown!

Silver Championships

TMF vs. BSA Supreme

It was a hard-fought battle to start the game as each team was looking to end the Fall League on a high note.  TMF came out strong to lead by double-digits but BSA Supreme started to get back into the game, being active defensively and looking to make plays. It ended up being a very close game by halftime, with BSA Supreme eventually leading 34-30. That battle only continued in the second half, with TMF bringing a balanced attack, creating off the dribble, and attacking. But BSA Supreme, led by strong guard play, was able to hold on in a tight one at the end, winning 60-57.

Bronze Championship

C-Town vs. Team Inge

Starting off the championship games, C-Town and Team Inge went at in hopes of taking a title home.  It was a tremendous game early on, with both teams filling it up offensively. Hayes Lewis was off the charts early on for Team Inge, scoring 24 first-half point and hitting multiple threes.  It is what allowed his team to hold a 10-point lead at halftime, 41-31.  C-Town continued to attack and put pressure on Team Inge but Inge also responded well.  In the end, Team Inge was able to hold their lead and eventually take home the 66-57 victory.
