TPLS and HA Prep continued the action on Sunday afternoon and boy was it a good one. TPLS came out really strong led by Nicholas Graverly, who went off for 14 first-quarter points and was really pushing his team to an early 15-pointe lead at the end of one. But give credit to HA Prep, as even though things may have not gone their way, they battled back and it was the play of one of their leaders Nick Green, who simply took over. HA Prep slowly started to chip away by getting to the free throw line and knocking down shots from outside but also stepping up defensively. It wasn’t until late in the fourth when they finally got their first lead of the game. They were eventually able to secure the comeback victory from the line, 72-67.

Standouts:
2021 Nick Green (HA Prep): Green was absolutely unstoppable in this one. You knew what he was going to do at times and you still couldn’t slow him down. He was aggressive attacking defenders, penetrating the lane and getting to the line, as well as showing his smooth and confident shot from multiple levels, on his way to 39 points.
2021 Nicholas Graverly (TPLS): Gravely came out strong and assertive on offense, scoring inside and out with his jumper while also dribble penetrating and showing good touch and lift in getting the ball on the rim to score. He was the leader of this group and was effective with the ball in his hands, showing a nice balance of playmaking ability.
