GBC and Team Together got Court 1 underway in Rock Hill on Saturday, as both teams had some intriguing talent to watch.  GBC from Garner got off to a solid start, creating an early cushion behind the play of multiple guys, including Ben Hines, Asa White, and others.  Team Together, fresh off their game earlier in the day, couldn't find the same success as they did earlier in the day offensive, as they found themselves down at halftime 38-30. GBC continued to find their offensive game, knocking down shots from outside, creating turnovers into points, and eventually putting this game out of reach in the third quarter. It was just too much GBC in this one, as they took home the 82-60.

Stats:
GBC:
Tarice Mason 16 points
Asa White 15 points
Ben Hines 12 points

Team Together:
Elijah Burnett 11 points
Troy Fulton 13 points
Avery Borden 10 points

Standouts:

2022 Asa White (GBC): White brings size and mobility as a forward and showed that ha is comfortable operating in multiple areas. Really like his ability move on the court, his timing on the boards, and how he runs the floor.  White continues to develop his game and was able to operate well in the paint offensively with his size.

2023 Tarice Mason (GBC): Big bodied, young prospect was able to show that he can operate off the dribble and get to his spots in the paint, while using touch to score or get foul.  He can play more of a physical game with his frame, scoring well inside and out.

2023 Elijah Burnett (Team Together): Young point guard has good length and one can see that he continues to be that floor general at an early age.  Plays under control, reads the floor well, and can get others into the offense, finding open teammates for shots. He continues to improve in his overall game.
