The action continued on Day 7 in Rock Hill, with Carmel Christian and Providence Day taking the court.  Both were hoping to finish the event strong with a win, as it looked to be an intriguing matchup. Carmel found success early from Burnham and Bynum, while Kyle Bean stepped up as well. Quave Propst-Allison led the charge early in the first with eight first-quarter points.  With a three-point lead after the first, Carmel increased it to double-digits, outscoring Providence Day 16-6 in the second quarter.  Carmel continued to get the job done on offense and defense, as they outscored Providence Day in each quarter after.  In the end, there was just too much balance for Carmel Christian, securing the 74-42 victory.

Carmel:
Ben Burnham 20 points
Glenn Bynum 12 points
Justin Taylor 11 points

Providence Day:
Khamani Wertz 12 points
Quave Propst-Allison 10 points
Liam Gedeon 6 points

Standouts:

2021 Justin Taylor (Carmel Christian): Known for his composure on the court, Taylor has his outside game rolling today with multiple threes.  His consistency from the perimeter has continued to climb and be noticed, becoming a very well-round point guard.

2022 Quave Propst-Allison (Providence Day): Propst-Allison is such a quick guard with a terrific change of pace and direction. Uses it so well to his advantage in getting defenders on his hip and penetrating the lane. He plays with a tough mindset and has an excellent balance of being a point guard and a scoring guard.
