Game 3 of the day went between Bull City Durham vs. New Faith Christian.  Two teams that might not always get the spotlight, battled it out on Day 2 of the Phenom Holiday Classic.  Unlike the other two games, these one got out a little slow between the two, both teams running their offense and looking to attack the boards. Bull City found early success on the boards with their size, helping them get out to a 13-6 lead.

The offense didn't pick up much more in the second quarter, as Bull City was able to grab some points from the free throw line.  It wasn't until later in the quarter that a few shots started to fall for New Faith, staying in contention in this game and keeping it close.

In the second half, Bull City was able to create a little more separation, as shots just weren't falling for New Faith, as they eventually fell behind by double-digits.  For much of the third, Bull City Prep was able to maintain their double-digit, holding a 51-35 lead after three.

From then on, Bull City Prep was able to wrap this one up and hold their lead throughout, ending the game with a 79-61 victory of New Faith Christian.

Standouts:

2022 Chinedum Okpukpara (Bull City Prep Durham): Big man was active around the paint, using his size and mobility to impact on the boards on both ends, and score around the rim.  Like his ability to keep the ball active and his timing on the boards.

2023 6'6 Abrahm Driver (Bull City Durham): The other big on the squad, he showed good mobility, good hands, and nice touch around the rim. Active on both ends and as a young big, he is going to be intriguing to watch develop his game as a young big.

2021 Syied Dyer (New Faith Christian): Dyer has good size at 6'4 but really showed his range in this game, knocking down four three-pointers and showing range on his shot.  Good solid prospect that played well in the first half.
