Last game on the night for Saturday, as Bull City High School and HA Prep looked to end the night with a bang. It was a back and forth, hard-fought affair in the first half, as HA Prep was able to retain the small lead by knocking down some outside shots and working hard around the paint. Bull City looked to penetrate the gaps with their guards, which they were able to do at times to keep them within three at the half, 30-27. Second half though, Bull City High School started to be more aggressive and assert themselves on offense, getting more guys involved. They took over the lead and started to increase, eventually grabbing the 73-56 win to end the night.
Stats:

HA Prep Durham
Nick Green 24 points
Joshua Tyler 9 points
Standouts:
2021 Nick Green (HA Prep): Now with a new program, Green continues to do what he has shown all summer long and that is simply score the ball and be effective on multiple levels. He brings a nice balance in his game, still showing his outside game but being aggressive and using his body well to score also. Good player and a good showing.
2022 Mazi Jackson (Bull City Prep): Jackson is a quick guard on the court, whether it is in the halfcourt or pushing the tempo. Jackson was extremely effective in penetrating the defense and asserting himself to get to the rim or making plays for others. Jackson was impressive and a key part in Bull City’s win to end the night.
