No.4. 6’4 2018 Corey Rutherford

Rutherford has been one of the top performers of the weekend, currently he’s averaging 32. Ppg through tournament play. The unsigned senior is coming off an impressive state title run and hasn’t cooled down one bit. Rutherford was a point shy of a 40 piece and simply put the defense absolutely no one to check this man. The matchups wished but the common denominator was Rutherford find the bucket, he connected on nine deep balls and showed an improved layup package.

Rutherford could be a steal for regional Division one’s he’s got the size and skill set to contribute early on at the next level. Like Coach Rick says “shooting always translates” this kid can stroke the leather with the best of them.

No. 32. 6’6 2018 Khyrie Thompson

Thompson is another unsigned Division one talent on this High Point Havoc squad, Thompson was a solid role player for one the top teams in NC. With Wesleyan Christian Thompson was battle tested through a rigorous national schedule, that developed poise has transcended over to travel ball. Thompson was the second leading scorer with 20 pts in this one, Thompson is a strong bodied wing prospect, he’s a natural slasher and a strong finisher. Thompson is hard to keep out of the lane in open space and he repeatedly punished the Heat’s frontline.

Thompson shot the rock at a high percentage he’s proven this weekend his game is much tougher than just a support guy, Thompson could be an nice two- way wing at the college level adding a player of his caliber this late may pay off big down the road.

No.6 6’4 2019 Javon Outlaw (NC Heat)

Outlaw lead the way for the Heat, he proved capable of knocking down tough shots and when his side got down he never let up. Outlaw has been the best player all weekend for the heat; a high motor wing who refuses to take possessions off, he finished with eight points Outlaw is naturally a wing but at 6’4 he’s forced to play down low at times on a thin front line.
