Passion Driven Sports has been pillar in the Pee Dee/Grand Strand area for the past two years. Gym Gems will be focusing on small town kids with big time talent. Every one of these prospects are high character competitors who excel inside the classroom and also on the basketball court.
Weston Glassgow is 6’3 combo guard with phenomenal shooting touch. He scored 514 points in 2019-20 and was the top scorer in total points for SCISA AA for the entire state of South Carolina, averaging 17.1 points per game, 4.8 assists, 6.5rebounds and 3.0 steals a game. Weston made 55% of FG, (183-332), 46% of 3FG (72-158), 64% of 2FG (111-174) and 81% of FT (76-94). In addition, Weston grabbed 196 rebounds as a point guard with 145 assists and 90 steals. Weston accomplished two double-doubles and a triple-double (20-14-12) this past season.
Weston considered himself to be a complete player. The combo guard with heavy upside can score from all three levels. He is an underrated passer and rebounder with knack to score the ball. Weston is a “team first” player who cares about winning more than stats. His ultimate goal is to win state championship for Dillon Christian and fulfilling his dream of becoming an college basketball player. Division 2 schools will be highly intrigued by his IQ and shooting ability.
