May is a gritty, tough, and fierce competitor. I call him the truth; highlighted because as an underrated stud when I first saw him, he made quite a name for himself. May is one of the best 3-point shooters. Jacob plays with tremendous hustle and energy that fuels and inspires his team. He does it all out there.

He is explosive off the bounce and finishes over taller defenders with ease. He also can drop a mean dime and mix it up on the boards with the best of them at his position. Pound for pound, May is one of the best combo guards.

In the AAU session, he averaged 11.2pts (40.1 percent from 3), 5.4rebs, and 7.1asts. He was named to the NCHBC All-American team and Greater Houston Top 60 for the entire class of 25. Outstanding for a home school phenom… My motto for him this summer is anywhere anytime, just bring it. May took it personally when the home school label was used to discredit his abilities and even when playing D1 level talent proved over and over he is a baller and 'the truth.'

The biggest improvement from the season through the AAU session was that he got bigger and stronger, and it showed in every elite camp he attended as well as the circuit. His goal for the upcoming season is to stay consistent and excel in the classroom while improving every phase of his skills on the court. Coaches should know that May brings a high basketball IQ on both ends and toughness and grit with fire to win.

Known as y fierce and scrappy athlete he always brings the passion that fuels a team and dazzles coaches. Don’t let the size and label fool you, this star is THE TRUTH!
