6'5 2019 AJ Morris PSB Elite McDonald
AJ Morris is a wing with a tremendous upside. He is a very long
wing who can handle the ball on the wing and create plays. He has
good explosiveness and a nice looking jumpshot. Although he's
thin, he has no problem crashing the glass and getting physical with
opponents. Keep your eye on this Charlotte native while he finishes
up his high school ball at Grace Academy.
6'3 2019 Steven Verplancken Synergy Elite Wise U17
31 points, 6 threes and a win. That's how Steven Verplancken
closed out the Saturday evening session at Prolific Park in the
Phenom Grassroots Tip-Off Classic. This young prospect has a
terrific frame, long arms and a solid skill set. He was born in the
Dominican Republic and his family currently lives in Belgium. He is
new to the United States and is just getting on the radar of many
schools. This young man has a bright future in basketball. Be sure to check him out!
6'5 2018 Zyrion Wilkins Team Heat Elite
Zyrion is a very talented unsigned Senior. He can play the 1
through the 3. He is a wiry, strong young man who can score the
ball from all three levels. We didn't have a tape measure to get an
accurate reading on his reach, but one look at him and you can tell
his wing span is well beyond average.
6'2 2019 Darius Jones Virginia Havoc
Darius Jones is an incredible shooter. That's the only way he can be
described. He torched the nets at Prolific Park tonight hitting
multiple 3's. In fact, in a game vs the Franklin County Bulls he hit 3
of them in a row during a decisive stretch run. In his next game
over on court 3 he hit 5 threes in the first half alone. As he develops
more phases of his game his stock will continue to rise.
6'3 2019 Talton Jones Flight 22 Elite
Talton is an ambidextrous finisher around the rim, possesses an
excellent handle and has a consistent mid-range shot. Defenses
can't relax in transition either. He is constantly in attack mode.
That being said, he will also make the right plays when the defenses
rotate into help position. When the dust settles, this young man
should have several options of schools he can enroll in for the Fall
of 2019.
