Although multi-sport athletes are gradually beginning to decrease, Jack Carter has made a name for himself on the basketball court, football field, and baseball diamond while maintaining 4.1 GPA in the classroom. The North Lincoln star is someone that should begin generating buzz around the state, given his abilities in all three sports. At this point, he's probably somewhat under the radar but has the tools to explore various different avenues at the next level.

We've seen Carter multiple times with Team Loaded 704, where he fills a variety of roles. He's proven capable of being the primary floor general with a nice balance between playmaking, penetration, and three-point shooting but can also slide off-ball and apply excellent pressure. Carter is a smart decision-maker with the ball in his hands, always looking to make the best available play but understanding when to attack versus when to defer to teammates. He utilizes his body effectively when attacking the basket or rebounding the ball. Carter is a willing defender with strength and solid quickness. He is a lethal enough three-point shooter to cause serious problems for the opposition as a pure spot-up threat. Carter plays with a high motor and shows the willingness to be a quality teammate on both ends of the floor.

There should already be an obvious amount of things to like about Carter, but his ability to get it done in the classroom vault him into even higher territory. Regardless of what sport or level, Carter should end up finding success at the next level. College coaches should certainly give the strong-bodied floor general a hard look over the next calendar year.
