We've seen a lot of players come through our doors over the years, varying in appearance, skill level, and everything in between. We decided to put forth a 'Getting to Know' series on some players who have attended events but still remain on the lesser-known side of things. Each of these prospects embody being a student-athlete and getting it done in the classroom as well as on the basketball court, and today's edition will take a closer look at Caleb Senyo of Haywood Christian.

We've seen Senyo countless times, including at our Phenom 150 Camp, where we stated, 'Moving onto a player that continues to highlight a quality balance between scoring and playmaking, Caleb Senyo. He's a smart, steady, balanced floor general with vision and the ability to score efficiently within the flow of the team. Senyo looks to set up others whenever possible and consistently displays a willingness to make the extra pass or pitch-ahead pass in transition. He contains his assignment well and is capable of forcing turnovers at the point of attack. Next in his development process is working to add strength, as it'll only make him a more physical player. Coach Williams on Senyo: 'Caleb is a solid point guard. He has court vision, makes good reads off the pick-and-roll action. He can shoot the three-pointer and defends the best opposing guard. Caleb is a floor general. He maintained a positive attitude and accepted coaching well throughout the day.' Senyo enjoyed another productive showing at camp and looks poised for a quality upcoming season at Haywood Christian.'

Since then, Senyo has racked up the accolades and accomplishments. Last season at Haywood Christian, he posted gaudy per-game averages of 37 PPG, 10.7 RPG, 4.4 APG, and 6.1 SPG, and carried the offensive load on a nightly basis. This spring, Senyo has consistently shown the ability to effectively run a team against higher levels of competition. He's a steady floor general who looks to create for others and find scoring opportunities within the flow of the action. Senyo displays nice feel and understands how to cause problems for opponents on either side of the ball. He makes the extra pass, scores at an efficient rate, and does a great job of making his presence felt defensively. Senyo and NLPB should turn heads during the upcoming weekend at our G3 Showcase.
