Name: Kyle Frazier
Getting to know Frazier:
Just a rising junior at Weddington that stepped up in big way to help the Warriors to a 22-8 record, Frazier was second on the team in scoring and rebounding averaging 11.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game… as a 6’2 guard. He shot 44 percent from the field while also shooting 42 percent from three, knocking down 47 made 3-pointers. His development will only continue to grow this summer and next season. At the Phenom 150 camp this past fall, Frazier really showcased his talent and productivity, averaging 11.5 points and being one of the more consistent scorers for his team.
Phenom Hoops Player Evaluation from Phenom 150 camp:
“Continuing onto a player that was arguably the most reliable offensive option for this team, Kyle Frazier. He’s a smart, wiry, well-rounded guard prospect that can do an abundance of things on the floor while expanding his production as needed. Frazier is a nice, unselfish creator with vision and the ability to score efficiently from all three levels. He fights hard for rebounds, loose balls, and any extra possessions available. Next in his development process is working to become a craftier ball-handler, as it would make him even tougher to contain off the bounce. Coach Threadgill on Frazier: “Kyle is a high-IQ player that has a good understanding of how to play the game. On the defensive end, he did a great job of talking and communicating with his surrounding teammates. Kyle did a great job of getting 50/50 balls and extra possessions throughout the day.” Frazier proved to be a definite asset to this team, especially given his mentality, and has all the tools to have a very productive upcoming season at Weddington.”
