Continuing our look at players around North Carolina, we check out 2021 6'9 Joseph Ferrante from South Meck high school and Team Loaded 704.

Ferrante is a prospect that has gone under the radar but has shown to be a productive player on the court.' This past season, he led South Meck in scoring, rebounding, and block shots, posting some impressive numbers at 12.7ppg, 7.1rpg, and 2.2bpg.

His ability to work in the post and create for himself, using his footwork, as well as step out and knock down perimeter shots is tough for any defender to slow down. He also gets it done on the boards.

Phenom Hoops has been keeping an eye of Ferrante over the years as he continues to grow and develop his overall game.  Back in 2018 at the Phenom CP3 Live, we had this to say about Ferrante. 'At 6-foot-6, he's a difficult assignment for opponents to contain, especially given his guard skills and phenomenal face-up ability. He can create for himself, spot-up, or set up on the low block and punish opponents.'

This summer, Ferrante hopes to be a big focal point for Team Loaded 704.

When speaking to Team Loaded 704 head coach Tom Mitchell, this is what he had to say about what Ferrante brings to the court.

'Joseph is a 6'9' very skilled stretch 4 who can shoot with range at a high percentage but is also equally effective in the post.' An excellent student and national honor society member, Joseph is a high character guy who can really score the basketball.' Facing a lot of double teams, Joseph has also become an excellent passer routinely finding the open man on time.' A great teammate, Joseph is also a high-volume rebounder, runs the floor very well and plays with toughness.'

Currently, Ferrante has been receiving some interest from Winthrop, Washington & Lee, and Gardner-Webb. But with an impressive summer and continuing to be one of the go-to players at South Meck, his interest could continue to grow.
