Getting to Know:

Atkinson is one to really start taking notice of with his intriguing combination of size and skillset, as he is a strong and explosive prospect that really can provide highlight dunks and fight through traffic.  He plays with a great motor on the floor and can defend multiple positions on the floor.  When speaking to Atkinson more about his game, he had this to say.

“I excel at attacking the rim, have excellent vision, and I’m a catch and shoot type of prospect.  I’m a willing shooter and also like to get out and defend.”

Phenom Hoops Said:

“If you need him to handle the ball and initiate the offense, he does that well, if you need him to set up in the high post and run your offense through him there, it’s all good.  He’s got excellent vision, but his best attribute is attacking the basket and getting to the line.” – Miles Masercola in 2018
