As far as the guard position goes for this team, they have several weapons that they can attack with.' 2023 Jah Short is one of the prime leaders on the court, bringing his scoring power, athleticism, and feel that he showed at Farmville Central and providing that to Garner Road.' They also have Janiveon Guyton from Corinth Holders, a 6'2 guard, and 2023 6'2 Nicholas Anthony from Raleigh Christian Academy; both of which can impact the court in an array of ways on both ends of the court.

Continuing down the list of guards, 2023 6'3 Will Otto, 2023 6'4 Amari Odom, 2023 6'4 Trey Boyd, and 2023 6'5 Nigel Okwakol all can fill it up on the court. Otto plays with a tremendous IQ and awareness on the court, Odom brings length and can fill up a stat sheet, Boyd brings that sharpshooter mentality and playmaker to the floor, and Okwakol can score the ball effectively and displays tremendous athleticism.

Now looking at the forwards on the team, 2023 6'6 Lamonte Cousar can be a tough matchup with his size, physical frame, and ability to score inside and out.  Then you add three very skilled bigs down around the paint but also can operate in others of the court, Antonio Chol (Minnesota Prep), Ashton Troutman (Uwharrie Charter), and Joseph Bachman (Laney) are three intriguing players to watch.  All standing at 6'8 and skilled forwards, it gives Garner Road some tremendous depth and firepower inside the arc.

Led by their coaching staff, Garner Road 3SSB 2023 will be one to certainly watch all summer long, as they should have the attention of college coaches all around the country.
