Game 4 was about to kick off here at the George Lynch Invitational, as Cox Mill was looking to make a statement going up against Cannon, who was coming off a Day 1 win.  It looked to be an interesting battle between these two teams with firepower on the court.  Cannon came out strong early but Cox Mill started to settle in and 2024 Langston Boyd started to get going in the first half, helping his team earn the lead after the first quarter.  Cox Mill's defense was able to get Cannon out of rhythm offensively while finding ways to get the able to Boyd and company.  It was a tight battle throughout the first half, with Cox Mill holding the one or two-basket lead for much of the way and eventually taking a 34-31 lead into halftime.

Going into the third quarter, it was looking like it was going to be a dogfight until the end, as both teams were trading baskets and looking to make plays but also getting after it on both ends of the court.  Cannon was able to regain the lead late at the end of the third quarter, holding a one-point lead going into the fourth. It looked to be anyone's game, just depending on who would make that last push and it was Cannon's go-to leaders that stepped up late in the fourth to grab a comfortable lead and eventually hold on for the 64-58 victory.
