Franklinton came out with defensive tenacity and jumped to a quick 10-0 lead. The rest of the way these two teams were even, but Bunn could never close the gap and tie or take the lead. The closest they got was within two points right before the half, but Franklinton came down and hit a huge three at the buzzer.
That seemed to be how the rest of the night went. Bunn thought they woulc close the gap within a possession but credit to Franklinton because they continued to hit big shot after big shot.
Bunn took care of the basketball (only 5 TOs), but Franklinton did a great job contesting Bunn’s interior shots well.
