At our September open gym tour of the Durham Hurricanes, we were able to watch 6’4 ’18 Jordan Love once again. From our evaluation, we may have been somewhat prophetic in stating, “We are expecting a breakout season for Jordan Love. Last year at the Durham Hurricanes open gym, we stated shooters translate at every level and Jordan Love has a knack for the ball tickling the twine. This open gym was no exception. Jordan was knocking down perimeter shots at a high rate. We have always been impressed with his work ethic and ability to play both ends of the court.”

Through 15 games this season, Jordan Love is having a stellar season. He is averaging 16.2 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2.1 APG and 1.8 SPG. While Jordan is padding the stat sheets for Voyager Academy, he has always been a passer friendly point guard that enjoys getting his teammates involved. At times he may have been too unselfish. That being said, he always embraced the “team first” approach and consistently sported a great attitude and played hard on every possession. Now, he has matured and developed into an all around player that is showcasing his overall talent and skill set.
