Here’s a list of players that caught the eye of many on the first night of live period. These players competed hard and helped their teams come up with their first win of the tournament.

Greensboro Warriors 2020 6’2 CG Ahmil Flowers – Looking at Flowers he passes the look test. When he first took the floor for warm ups it was 110% effort which translated over to the game. Flowers has that quick burst which he uses to get by defenders and finish strong at the rim. He rebounds well for his size and usually comes up with them over bigger defenders. Where he separates himself at is his athleticism. On the defensive end he uses his length to come up with steals after pressuring ball handlers into mistakes. He had numerous dunks and closed out the game with a nasty alley. Coaches need to track him now.

Greensboro Warriors 2020 6’4 SG Jordan Williams – Williams is a player that can turn into an elite shooter. He knows how to position himself to score and picks his shots well. defensively he is valuable as well with his ability to rebound and guard numerous positions. He knocked down multiple college range 3s and finished well at the rim. He will be worth a trip to the gym to see the rest of the weekend.

Charlotte Nets 2020 6’5 SF Brandon Jefferson – If one is looking for a prospect with loads of potential look no further than Jefferson. Jefferson has a BIG body and he uses it well. he fights hard for position on both ends of the floor and he gets them every time. He footwork in the post is smooth as well. he converted multiple baskets using both hands and multiple moves to get them off. If he continues to grow and improve the sky will be the limit.

Charlotte Nets 2020 5’9 Miles Bolin – Bolin had a great attitude from the time he entered the gym all the way until the end of the game. he plays with so much passion and one can see that every possession. In the game tonight he hit 4 deep 3s and finished with 20pts that helped his team get the win. He was probably the best teammate that I saw all day.

WBCA Elite Blue 2020 6’1 Michal Boney – Boney did a little bit of everything tonight. Playing on such a discipline team it is sometimes hard to stand out. He plays passing lanes well and always makes the right play. He scored in a variety of ways to help his team win. He has nice size for the position and a tight handle. He’s a for sure college prospect that coaches need to get a look at now!

Greensboro Warriors 2019 6’1 Taron Trotman – Trotman was very exciting. He was crafty around the rim and had some nasty finishes in the lane. He kept defenders on their toes with his quick burst which he used to his advantage. On the defensive end he hounded ball handlers causing turn overs. Look for him to continue to take advantage of match ups all weekend.

Greensboro Warriors 2019 6’2 Devin Ingram – Ingram was the best ball handler/creator I saw all day. He created for teammates as well as himself. His speed and vision in the open court was a mismatch for defenders and he took full advantage of this. He converted floaters and lay ups all game which helped him finish as the leading scorer with 19 points. Coaches need to get a good look at him.
