Shammond Williams will be joining Phenom Hoops as a scout analysis for the South Carolina Upstate area. Williams played for legendary and Hall of Fame Coach Dean Smith. While at UNC, Williams played in three Final Fours, his freshman, junior and senior season. In addition, he was named team captain both his junior and senior season. After graduating from UNC, Williams was drafted no. 34 by the Chicago Bulls, but was then traded to the Atlanta Hawks. 

After spending seven years in the NBA and six years in Europe, Williams got into college coaching becoming an assistant coach at Furman University in 2012. In 2013, Williams spent three years as an assistant coach at Tulane University, only to spend his final year in 2018 at Western Kentucky. Williams then returned home to Greenville, South Carolina to start his own real estate company and also his SWBA (Shammond Williams Basketball Academy) Williams will provide additional coverage in the Upstate area as Phenom Hoops expands its coverage into the Palmetto state.'
