Lady Phenom Hoops is gearing up for a tremendous season and we are looking at teams around the state that have talent to be on the lookout for.  Last year, the Jaguars of Forestview finished the season 16-10 overall and 8-6 in conference play, ultimately having a chance to play in the 3A playoffs before falling to East Lincoln.

After a year of experience under their belt, Forestview could be a team that takes the next step this year and continues to be a strong team for opponents. When you look at the roster they could be returning, this was a team that was made up of young prospects last year with also a blend of experience, and many of those names will be returning and another year of development.

2026 Amani Neely had a strong showing in leading the charge, averaging 12.4 points but also having an impact on the boards, facilitating, and defensively.  Behind her though, 2027 Tralyn Phillips really opened eyes with her instant impact as a freshman, averaging 11.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 4.0 steals per game.

But this is a team that nearly averaged 60 points per game, and players like 2025 Miangel Thompson, 2025 Molly Forgan, and others will help continue to bring experience to the table, as Forestview looks to have a nice blend of talent and experience heading into the season.  After going 16-10 last year, could this team take the next step and add more victories to their resume? They could be a sneaky team to watch out for.
