Championship Sunday, it doesn’t get any better than this on what has been a terrific event in Rock Hill. We moved into the First in Flight bracket, as Elevation Prep and Franklin Prep battled it out on the court.  This was a game that looked to be fun with some players that you will want to remember.

Franklin Prep came out strong, clicking on all cylinders, playing scrappy basketball, and bringing some pressure to the table.  The three ball was rolling early for this group, with Davante Gonzalez leading the way with eight early points, but seven other players got into the scoring column.  Elevation Prep competed, especially with what their coach brings to the table.  Franklin though got out to a 39-25 halftime lead.

Elevation Prep came out strong and started to chip away at the lead, getting it down to as many as six in the second half but Franklin Prep answered right back and quickly pushed it back to a double-digit lead in the second half.  From then on, they were able to maintain their distance and secure a 71-59 victory to secure the First in Flight Championship.
