The past weekend, Phenom Hoops hosted our annual Team Camp in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Between the individual talent, collection of teams, and overall competition, there were a lot of meaningful takeaways. College coaches were in attendance from start to finish, and several players made lasting impressions with their play. One team that grabbed our attention was Saint Stephen’s, as they offered some new names to watch down the road.
The three guards for Saint Stephen’s really earned our scouts’ attention, as they produced, brought a dynamic scoring threat, and some that have plenty of room for growth. 2027 Javian White, 2026 Noah VanBeurden, and 2028 Rob Beasley all played at a high level, and we had plenty to say about them at the event.
2027 Javian White
“2027 Javian White (St Stephens) has been off the charts this week. Scoring all over, bouncy guard, and hitting shots from outside with a ton of confidence.”
“Javian White ’27 (St. Stephens) has such good feel for the game and has a burner if you leave him open. He’s shown he can create off the bounce for himself and others. Has great vision and can pass from a variety of angles.”
2026 Noah VanBeurden
“Smart, fundamentally sound guard. Confident shooter from the perimeter. Good range.”
“2026 Noah VanBeurden (St Stephens) continues to show his shot-making ability and range. Confident release and can light it up from deep.”
2028 Rob Beasley
“2028 Rob Beasley (St Stephens) has been a steady piece early for this team here at the #PhenomTeamCamp. Steps up and makes plays early on.”
“2028 Rob Beasley (Team Curry) played extremely well tonight. Was able to attack downhill and finish at the rim. Also, knocked down three 3’s from the perimeter.”
