6'6 '24 Tyler Showalter (Butler/BSA Supreme)

Showalter's inevitable breakout should probably be somewhat obvious to those who have watched BSA Supreme this spring. After a junior season with averages of 10.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.4 SPG, and 1.0 BPG, it feels like his numbers should increase across the board. Showalter should be a focal point, especially after the departure of various key seniors. It'll be interesting to see who else emerges within this roster, but folks should expect Showalter to have a productive and efficient senior season.

6'3 '25 Will James (Holly Springs/Strong Center)

From a personnel standpoint alone, Holly Springs seems highly likely to put James in a leadership position. The departure of three starters, including a primary ball-handler, should allow the blossoming, well-rounded guard to enjoy a major breakout. He's been undeniably impressive as the tone-setter and driving force for Strong Center over the last few months. Between his IQ, toughness, and two-way presence, James does a phenomenal job of affecting all facets of the game. Expect him to start piling up scholarship offers sooner than later.

6'6 '25 Addison Newkirk (Greensboro Day/Team Legend)

Although Greensboro Day will likely have a reloaded roster by the start of the high school season, Newkirk still feels like someone who should play a vital role for this group. He's simply a smart player with the understanding of how to consistently impact a game whilst playing within himself and the team concept. Newkirk can initiate the offense, score from all levels, and adapt to various different roles. He does so many subtly intelligent things to make his presence felt and naturally contributes to winning as a direct result. Newkirk's all-around game should appeal to a variety of coaches.

6'8 '26 Cody Peck (Providence/CC Elite)

Saying Peck should be expected to have a breakout season is like saying the sky is blue, no one should be able to argue. His ascension into stardom has been incredibly fun to watch over these last few months, even though he's still truly just beginning to scratch the surface of his long-term gifts. Not only has he considerably progressed, but Providence will graduate four seniors who combined for 52.9 PPG'leaving a perfect opportunity for the blossoming big man to emerge. His combination of IQ, size, touch, timing, athleticism, perimeter skill, and overall instincts should allow his production to explode across the board. Coaches would be wise to start getting involved early, as Peck is going to take off sooner than later.

6'5 '26 Tarris Bouie (Chambers/Team Eat)

Similar to the previous entry, Bouie will be returning to a situation that is basically perfect for a talented young player. He's long, skilled, and athletic with an excellent blend of IQ, poise, and maturity. Bouie is already a phenomenal shot-maker who possesses range, smooth mechanics, and a quick release. However, his game has only continued to blossom over the recent months. Bouie has visibly improved as a defender and overall playmaker, yet still maintains his scoring prowess and general leadership. The Cougars will still have ample talent surrounding the wing prospect, but don't be surprised by his inevitable breakout.
