It’s about time to see so many catching on to 2023 Freddie Dilione’s game. The No. 1 ranked player by Phenom Hoops for quite some time now, Dilione is now showing just what he can do on the national stage this summer and it seems that several other outlets and college coaches all around are catching on.
Dilione has been off the charts with his play for quite some time now, starting over two years ago during the summer. (Freddie Dilione showed it all at the Phenom Summer Havoc)
He has been known for his scoring output, as the smooth-operating guard can certainly fill it up. Dilione only continued to elevate his play, showing his ability to use his 6’5 frame to score from multiple levels, bully defenders and create for himself, provide another ball-handler on the court, and impact the floor in a variety of other ways. Dilione has been playing with something to prove for quite some time now; his ability to create, his scoring prowess, his vision, his leadership… are all things that can immediately stand out. And in knowing Dilione for some time now, this is a young man that comes out to prove why he should be considered an even bigger national prospect.
Though it took some time, everyone is getting a chance to see him shine and college coaches aren’t wasting any time in making him a target. After this past weekend, Dilione has added offers from Minnesota, Alabama, Georgia State, and Texas A&M. Just before then, he had added offers from Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Tennessee, NC State, Seton Hall, and Providence. And we got a feeling it isn’t going to slow down anytime soon, as he should only continue to be a player coaches will be watching all summer long.
