Players to watch from Team MOAM 2024 (Cam Miles/Mike Andino)

There is nothing better for a scout than finding new, intriguing prospects that should be ones on the radar for college coaches.  At the Phenom G3 Showcase, Team MOAM really captured the eyes of many, with 2024 Cam Miles and 2024 Mike Andino leading the...

The Ultimate Teammate: Bryce Cash

After a long, winding road of waiting, the everchanging landscape of grassroots basketball seems to be slowly getting back to normal. Of course, the NIL, transfer portal, and free year of college eligibility during covid still have effects spanning throughout the...

Polished and Skilled: 2025 Zymicah Wilkins (Team United)

Phenom Hoops gets a chance to see so many players at so many levels and there is nothing like getting an early chance to watch a young prospect grow and develop into a future star.  And when you know the potential that a young prospect has is unlimited, it only...

Bendel’s Best: G3 Showcase

This past weekend, Phenom Hoops traveled out to the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center for another exciting three-day stretch of basketball at our G3 Showcase. The field featured a ton of memorable teams, including a slew of shoe-circuit programs. Given the talent and...

Dawkins’ Standouts from Phenom G3 Showcase (Day 3)

By; DeAjai Dawkins 2024 Austin Swartz (Team Charlotte) It’s amazing to think that Swartz has two remaining years of high school basketball. I don’t think I’ve seen a sophomore scorer with Swartz’s 6’4 frame that can put the ball in the basket like he can. Swartz...

Noah’s Hoopers from Phenom G3 Showcase (Day 3)

By: Noah Hooper 5’10 2025 Kamari Cooke (Team Charlotte 15U)After watching Cooke this weekend I have come to the conclusion that this kid is a certified bucket getter. Throughout his games and especially this morning, Cooke was phenomenal at using his quickness to get...

Phenom G3 Showcase Standouts (Day 3)

By: Malcolm Morgan 2024 Jaylon Hoover (Hoop Dreams) This kid was impressive in today’s performance. I loved the composure about him and the way that he handled pressure. It was like nothing was going to speed him up. He has a quick change of speed and an elusive...

Phenom Standouts from Phenom G3 Showcase (Day 3)

By: Nicolas Chapman 2025 Landon Shirk (15u Tennessee impact) When watching Tennessee Impact play in their tournament, number 24 stood out to me with his shifty play and crafty layup package. Landon Shirk plays with confidence and knows that he can take over and win a...

Player Standouts at Day Three of Phenom G3 Showcase

5’9 ’25 Gavin Fields (Carolina Charge) Though slightly undersized, it was easy to be impressed with Fields during his first showing of the day. He’s a blindingly quick lead guard with nice IQ and the ability to touch the paint at a seemingly nonstop rate. Fields...

Dawkins’ Standouts: Phenom G3 Showcase (Part 2)

By; DeAjai Dawkins 2023 Avion Pinner (Team Curry) Avion Pinner has consistently impressed me when I’ve watched him play, but it is not for his high flying ability or overall versatility. Pinner’s ability to impact the game on the defensive end specifically is an...
