We've seen a lot of players come through our doors over the years, varying in appearance, skill level, and everything in between. We decided to put forth a series on some players who have attended events over the past few years but still remain on the lesser-known side of things, whether by spectators or college coaches. Each of these prospects embody being a student-athlete and getting it done in the classroom as well as on the basketball court, and today's edition will take a closer look at Elijah Green of Ardrey Kell.

Although there is still some uncertainty surrounding the high school basketball season, Green will be an excellent addition to a new-look Ardrey Kell squad. Not only does he perfectly complement the pieces already in place, but Green also adds his own dynamic to the team. He's a tough, scrappy guard prospect with a high motor and clear willingness to make an impact on the defensive end of the floor. Green can initiate offense or operate without the ball, given his useful perimeter shooting. He's a solid penetrator and overall playmaker that is always looking to make the best possible play. Though his opportunities were limited as a freshman, Green has the chance to see a massive increase in production over the next few seasons.
