Session I was absolutely amazing for Phenom Hoops’ Team Camp at Queens University. That is why we are back at it again. A few teams will be coming back to compete but others will be looking to see what they have this coming season for the first time.

One team of interest is Elevation Prep Academy, who brings a few interesting prospects to keep an eye on. Coach Brown provides us with a few names to watch for this weekend at Nation Ford.

TOMMIE CARTER – 6’6 2022 – WING – Tommie is a sharpshooter. He is truly one of the best pure shooters in the state. He is currently on everyone’s 2022 watch list PHENOM HOOP REPORT, BUCKET REEL, etc. He has the ability to score on all 3 levels and thrives with the game on the line.

He is long and wiry with a 6’8 wingspan. Although he has a slight frame he does not shy away from contact. He is a team-first guy who is a blessing to have in the locker room. When on the bench he is the first to bring enthusiasm when his team makes a good play.

IMMANUEL JONES – 6-5 2020 – FORWARD – Immanuel is a well built (4) forward with all-around skills. He not only has a nice package of moves around the basket but has an excellent mid-range jumper that has to be guarded. Although this is only his second year of playing varsity ball his game is growing day by day and has a wonderful upside. He is a late bloomer that is going to be a valuable player for the right program.

CEDRIC FARRIS – 6’5 2020 WING – Cedric is the ultimate glue guy with an extremely high basketball IQ. He excels on defense and loves the watch the best offensive player on the opposition especially on crucial possessions and can guard the 1 thru 5. Offensively he can play the 1 thru 5 and he is a natural rebounder. He is not going to bring flashy highlights but you can”t win without him. He fills up the entire box score being a jack of all trades. He is the first player in the gym and the last to leave. He can be coached hard and thrives when challenged by the coaching staff.
