EA Prep squared off with Carolina Ballin in a contest that felt more like a track meet than a basketball game!

Fort Mill, South Carolina- Overall it was a highly competitive game that felt like one with championship implications, EA wanted it more in the end.

This group sacrificed for one another, competing for every 50/50 ball unafraid to hit the floor for them, EA shared the rock well and caused all types of turnovers also. The turning point in this contest came late when EA forced four consecutive turnovers, and converted them all into layups in transition on the other end.

Standouts

5'10 2022 Will Jenkins (EA) ( 12 pts)- The floor general for EA Prep really settled things when the game got chaotic, Jenkins was good in transition and attacked the rim aggressively. Defensively he harassed opposing ball handlers and helped disrupt the oppositions offensive flow.

6'0 2022 Zy Brown (EA) (11 pts) – Another crucial part to this backcourt, Brown was another dedicated slasher, who took advantage of whatever the defense gave. Brown also flashed the three point range, which provided some much needed spacing for this group.

6'3 2022 Heston Foster (19 pts) (Carolina Ballin)- Foster was the best player on the floor for the entire first half in this contest. At 6'3 Foster is a knockdown shooter, he also has good size at 6'3 and he understands how to utilize the size on the block. Foster was also extremely active on the boards for his side.
