6’8″ junior Javon Benson is an absolute unit in the paint. The long-armed and quick-twitched big man imposes his will on everyone around the basket.
He was a force for 3 games at Phenom’s Queen City Showcase, averaging 23 points, 13 boards and 6 blocks each out. He has quick burst explosion and excellent timing on blocked shots. He even stepped out and knocked down a couple of threes.
No one could do anything with him. With SC State and USC Upstate having offered, April should be a fun time for Benson, offers should pour!
