The news got out that Drifty Elite was coming to Rock Hill to compete at the Phenom Grassroots TOC, and fans surrounded the courts to see some of the premier talent around the region on the court. No matter where you looked, there was a player that was committed to a D1 program, as the roster consisted of:

2025 Kaden Magwood – Auburn
2025 Caleb Thomas – Lehigh
2025 Jacob Wilkins – Georgia
2025 Josiah Parker – FAU
2025 Gevonte Ware – Rutgers
2025 Zymicah Wilkins – NC State

All are familiar names with Phenom Hoops, as we have had a chance to watch these players rise to the top of their class and put on a show. Drifty Elite ultimately ended the weekend with a 3-1 overall record, as they faced a tough test against CP3 2026 EYBL and ultimately secured wins against Bam’s City Scrappers, STARS Basketball Club UA Rise 2026, and Middleton Hoops EYCL 2026.

No matter where you looked, there were players you will be hearing about at the next level. 2025 Kaden Magwood looked to bring flare and a show to the fans, being electric with the ball in his hands and a true scoring threat from all levels. He flourished in knocking down shots from deep, pushing in transition and creating off the dribble, and scoring in a variety of ways or being a playmaker. 2025 Caleb Thomas was right beside him, flourishing in controlling and leading the offense, shining as a facilitator, and being a pest defensively. 2025 Jacob Wilkins was the best athlete in the gym throughout the weekend, putting on a show for all fans with impressive dunks and shot-making abilities from several areas. 2025 Josiah Parker brought energy, took advantage of mismatch opportunities, and was able to create for himself by using his size and scoring inside and out; a true mismatch on the court. Then you had the bigs of 2025 Zymicah Wilkins, who put on a show offensively, and 2025 Gevonte Ware. Wilkins is incredibly nimble and mobile, runs the floor well for his size, operated well in the paint and with touch, and showed his ability to stretch the court in facing up and knocking down shots. Ware was one of the most physical prospects in the gym, bullying opponents in the paint and being an absolute force on the glass.

Overall, it was fun to watch this team assemble with familiar names and impressive talent we will be hearing about in the next few years. They brought the energy, they brought the flare, and they put on a show for all the fans.
