Final:
Dorman 82 – Northwestern 63

Both teams were going back and forth in the first quarter, as Jalen Burnett was able to be aggressive and get to the free throw line to help Northwestern secure an early 2-point lead after one quarter. Dorman was able to create a small lead in the second half behind the play of Jalen Breazeale and company, eventually taking a 6-point lead with 2:30 to go before half but Northwestern was able to answer with a couple of late three’s by AJ Thompson. Northwestern went into halftime with a 37-35 lead.

Noah Clowney came out in the second half strong, scoring the first nine points for Dorman and helping retake the lead. He showed his ability to step out, hitting multiple three’s and using his size to his advantage. Both teams were trading baskets until Dorman was able to go on a small run around the four minute mark in the 3rd, eventually taking a double-digit lead by the end of the third.

They were able to maintain and eventually increase their lead, leading by as many as 22 in the fourth quarter and taking the 82-63 victory at the Dorman Tip-Off.
