Player: Isaiah Henry
Class: 2025
School: Cannon
What Was Said:
“Think it is only going to be a matter of time for this young sophomore, but Isaiah Henry has been showing us A LOT early on this season; his game has matured, and he is understanding and adding more to his game, and is really stepping up as an overall leader and go-to player. Henry continues to mix up his offensive game, showing that he can be productive from outside and inside, displaying a confident release from the perimeter but also using his frame to finish strong in the paint. The biggest thing that you see in his improvement is his overall confidence, which should only continue to carry over and should attract the eyes of college coaches.”
Cannon has been a team that Phenom Hoops has seen plenty of times this season in our events, and one of the most consistent players day in and day out was 2025 Isaiah Henry. Only a sophomore, Henry has taken his game to a whole different level this season, being a leader on the floor, spreading out his game offensively, being much more effective on the floor, and adding more levels to his game; and the numbers above back it up. Just look at the stats above, as Henry has averaged averaging over 22 points per game in the four Phenom events and posting similar numbers in others. He is also shooting over 50 percent from the floor consistently, knocking down multiple shots from outside (showing his shot-making ability), showing his impact and strength on the boards and inside the arc offensively, and his ability to set up his teammates. It can all be seen in the stats, and what you have seen this season from the sophomore.
That is why his recruitment has seen an uptick, as schools have been coming in strong with interest and he holds offers from USF and Appalachian State. But from looking into the stats more, and with what we have seen with our eyes, Henry has proven himself in a big way this season as one of the premier talents in NC for the Class of 2025.
