6’2 2019 Fletcher Abee has quietly risen to become one of the better floor generals in the NC 2019 cycle.

Previously considered as somewhat of a combo guard due to his scoring abilities and efficiency off ball. Abee had a record breaking junior year he’s a true marksman from deep, but Abee also proved to be a capable playmaker for Freedom High. Abee is tough on ball he’s efficient in pick N roll sets, the decision making is there Abee will take whatever the defense offers up. Abee is unselfish with the rock, he won’t commit many turnovers and whatever system Abee plays in he will be an extension of that coach on the floor.

Abee played tough over the weekend with Team Loaded 704 all of the chirping and physical play never shook him. Abee will adapt to whatever role is necessary for the team, Abee looks to create for others first but he will absolutely light it up if defenses are caught playing lackadaisical.

Currently Abee is generating buzz among a host of low major and mid major schools, with the July live period and Camp season approaching Abee has a chance to add on to his recent Lenoir- Rhyne offer.

“ I actually recently received an offer from Lenoir Rhyne; Campbell, The Citadel, VMI, and others have reached out. I’ve heard a lot from the SoCon and Big South, I’ll be attending High Point Elite Camp in August they’ve been on me and Wofford has been big.” Abee told Phenom Hoops.

“ I’m keeping all of my options open if anybody comes talking I’ll be willing to talk and hear about them.”

Abee is going to give everything on the floor he’s a player that truly appreciates the game, he’s hard nosed on both ends. Defensively Abee will make his man work and he isn’t afraid to take one in the chops for the team.

Programs need players like Abee to provide leadership and stability at the next level on and off the floor.

“On the court the first thing is really how I shoot the ball and the way I shoot the ball, and not only that, but the way I pass the ball I think will surprise some people and the way I get other teammates involved. The way I play I just try to leave everything out on the court.” Abee said.

“Whoever I play with I’m going to play hard that’s how it’s always going to be.”
