We continue to highlight players around the region, and the latest player we wanted to highlight was 2024 6’3 Justin Skelton, a player that has been garnering interest and offers from several players. We saw him a lot this summer, and he had a breakout-type performance at the Phenom G3 Showcase, where we had this to say:

“Skelton is one that has gradually improved, and he really had a coming-out party at the G3 Showcase; he has been known for his shot-making ability from all levels and he continued to flash that with his mid-range and 3-point shooting. But one can see that he brings a more well-rounded game to the court. Skelton did a terrific job in making plays off the dribble and attacking, moving and creating space for his shot without the ball, finishing at the rim, and also showing more of his versatility. This is why he could be one just starting his stock rise.” On the season this year, Skelton is averaging 16.5 points per game, showing his ability to be a consistent threat and one that can knock down shots.

He has continued to add offers, as he currently holds offers from Johnson & Wales University, Edward Waters University, William Peace University, Greensboro College, Brevard College, Voorhees University, and recently added CIU. He has also been garnering interest from Averett, USC Salk, University of Charleston (D2), Bob Jones, and Guilford College.

Phenom G3 Showcase:

“Talk about making a statement coming out of the gate today! Going for 34 points, Skelton put on a clinic with his scoring. He continues to showcase his ability to knock down shots and his confidence in his release. But he also mixed it up really well and attacked to get to the line as well. What a performance today by the young man.”
