2024 Trentyn Flowers, one of the top players in the country and in North Carolina, recently announced that he is down to his Top 5 school. Arkansas, North Carolina, Louisville, Creighton, and Alabama all made his final 5 schools, as they hope to land one of the premier talents in the country. CHeck out a little bit of what has been said from Phenom Hoops about his game.

“Flowers was a standout on Day 1 and he continued his stellar play on Day 2. When his team needed him the most, he elevated his play and showed why he was one of the top players in the country, as he is able to effectively operate from multiple positions, score effortlessly with his pull-up game, and use his size to his advantage as well as his ability to make plays off the dribble. He hit some huge shots when his team needed them.”

“The entire state of North Carolina has been buzzing about the arrival of Flowers, and it’s easy to see why. In terms of raw tools and talent, he is as impressive as any prospect. Flowers is long, smooth, and skilled with the blend of polish and athleticism to naturally cause matchup problems. He shoots the ball at a high level, finishes well around the basket, and makes quality decisions off the bounce. Flowers is already a useful defender and rebounder, but still has undeniable upside remaining in both areas. His lengthy offer sheet is certainly justified.”

“Flowers came out strong to start the game and was able to get others involved in the game as well. But North Carolina was officially introduced to the 6’9 nationally-ranked prospect and his tremendous skillset. Flowers’ ability to create and make plays with the dribble at his size, pretty much be effective scoring-wise from all levels, and his vision/ court awareness, we continue to say that this young man is a mismatch nightmare on the court.”
