A guard in the class of 2024, Damani Day is an intriguing prospect that continues to earn interest from schools around the area. If you are looking to get to know more about his game, here is a great article as we break his game all down (Click Here)

But Phenom Hoops recently spoke to Day about his latest visit this past weekend to East Carolina, as he was able to travel to Greenville (NC) as the Pirates took on Campbell. Here is what he had to say about the visit and what all he was able to see. “It was great,” Day said. “It was a big week for football, so the traffic caused us to get there a little late. Still was an overall visit though. Nice facility, great atmosphere. Met with some players, they seem to like it and be adjusting well to it. Definitely expect to go up there a couple more times.” Day was able to talk to Coach Morton while at the visit as well.

As far as his recruitment is going, Day mentioned that he has been in touch with Radford since June, as Coach James Haring also recently came down to see him at workouts this offseason. He is expecting to take a visit to Radford on December 4th. Day has also been in touch with VMI, Hampden-Sydney, Mount St. Mary’s, and now East Carolina. ECU and Radford have been the ones showing the most interest as of today.
