2023 Kailon Nicholls is a player that we have spoken about and I was surprised to see early on that his recruitment hasn’t really taken off.' When we first watched him, we had this to say about his impressive game:
“Hargrave just continues to have a guard that leaves an impression on us and it looks like Nicholls is next up. The 6'0 guard made play after play all throughout the game, whether it was creating off the dribble and finishing or knocking down tough shots. Nicholls filled it up all over the court, showing his burst of speed to get by defenders while also using his impressive 6'7 wingspan to finish around defenders and at the rim. If he wasn't doing that, Nicholls was able to create space for his jumper from multiple levels, as well as make plays in the open floor to find his teammates at times. He was a tough scoring option in this one, as he finished with 20 points in impressive fashion”
And then we wrote an article here about him: Need to start looking at more: 2023 6'0 Kailon Nicholls (Hargrave)
Well now, the 6’0 point guard has added two new offers to his list with Holy Cross and Elon being the latest schools.' When asked how recruitment has gone overall, Nicholls said, ” It has been picking up). We have been getting many calls in the last two weeks.”' He also mentioned a nice list of schools that have been expressing interest his way.
“Mainly, UMass Lowell, NJIT, Holy Cross, and Elon. My dad has spoken to Cal, New Mexico State, Robert Morris, and recently Seton Hall reached out but I haven't spoken to them yet. My coach has had conversations with others as well like DePaul, Cal, SMU, and USF.”
2023 6'0 Kailon Nicholls @KN5basketball put on a show last night for @HargravePGBB. Showcased his ability to create & attack in transition, knock down tough perimeter shots, & his terrific athleticism in finishing around or at the rim. @Phenom_Hoops
