Often times, a prospect can go through the high school game without needing to attract a ton of attention and still find incredible success at the next level. Somehow, it feels like everyone within North Carolina already understands and appreciates the capabilities of Jaydon Young. What will it take for him to receive appropriate national recognition' Well, the Greensboro Day and Team CP3 star is preparing to dominate during the upcoming season.

As a freshman at Wayne Christian, Young was utterly impressive in all facets of the game. He posted nightly averages of 25.9 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 4.0 APG, and 1.4 SPG while shooting 58% from the floor, 42% from distance, and 76% from the free-throw line. The raw numbers speak for themselves, which made his decision to transfer and reclassify somewhat surprising. Typically, players who post those types of numbers aren't reclassifying.

Last season, Young made the move to Greensboro Day and still had a ton of high-level flashes despite playing in a smaller role. There were times where he would appear as the best player and prospect on the floor, which should become even more evident this year. With multiple noteworthy seniors graduating, the stage is set for Young to have an exceptional season for the Bengals.
